Norup + Wilson are pleased to announce that Roshana Care Group (Roshana) have been appointed to provide clinical care and operational services at Grandton Applecross – Luxury Retirement Residence.

The Grandton development, located in Applecross, comprises of 80 Serviced Apartments, a 10 Bed Private Care Suite, and facilities to suit. All Apartments can also receive an extended level of care similar to what is offered in most Aged Care facilities.

Grandton is the first building of its kind in Australia by offering the trilogy of Luxury Apartment Living, Retirement Village and Residential Care all under the one roof.

With their vison of creating a building that adapts to the demands of the present age, Norup + Wilson have developed John Frame’s initial idea of the Grandton Model into a luxury retirement village that allows its residents to age in the comfort of their own home without having to move even if their required level of care changes.

Grandton Applecross has been designed to class 9c standards and meets the requirements of the new Aged Care legislation likely to come into effect later this year.

It is an exceptional milestone for the development that Roshana, a well experienced industry partner, has embraced the Grandton vision. A vision that will set a new benchmark in Retirement Living and Aged Care.

Norup + Wilson and Roshana have worked closely to ensure that the final selection, design and quality of the ten-bed private care suite will meet the expectations of the future residents.

After a seven-year journey, the project is nearing completion with the construction works expected to reach the final stages over the next few months.

“Norup + Wilson look forward to working closely with the Roshana team over the coming years and together validating a new way for seniors living.”

“We are proud to have engaged Roshana, a West Australian based provider who has a clear track record of providing care services that range from ‘assisted living’ right through to ‘aged care’,” stated Dave Wilson, Director of Grandton Applecross.

“We had sought expressions of interest from a number of operators and the final selection was made based on financial capacity, quality of care, corporate vision and willingness to work on a Care model with us that has never been trialled before in WA,” added John Norup, Director of Grandton Applecross.
