We are pleased to provide our latest construction progress update for the Grandton Applecross apartments.
The planters at Grandton’s Entrance Area have been built and the earthworks have commenced. The entrance canopy is due to arrive on site this week with installation commencing the following week.
The Roof Terrace paving is now complete, and the installation of the Grandton Water Feature has commenced with the remaining planting to follow. The loose furniture has arrived at the port and is scheduled to be delivered when all works on the roof have been completed.
The interior fit-out of the apartments is close to completion. The carpets have been laid up to Level 12 in the apartments and up to Level 10 in the corridors. There are only a few minor items of Joinery in apartments left which should be finished by end of this week.
The tiling of the Commercial Kitchen will be completed by the end of this week and the fit-out should be finalised by mid-June.
We expect the Gym, Theatre Room and Pool Area to be completed by next week.
The Common Area on Level 2 has been painted, with flooring commencing early June.
The RACF Rooms have also been painted, tiled with flooring to commence this week.
The defects inspections on Levels 5, 6 and 7 have now been completed, Levels 8 and 9 will follow in the coming days and after that the inspections on Levels 3 and 4 will take place.
We are anticipating construction completion to be around early July 2024 with residents expecting to move in after the issue of titles, which typically takes 4 weeks.
